[ Kuwabara's face seemed rather serious if not a little ticked since his best buddy hasn't returned in weeks and he needs to actually do some of his work around the house. Not that it was important. He was more concerned with what was going on with his friend since it's Yusuke he must have some good reason for ditching his house for the past few....weeks? He didn't count too well. ]

Oi Urameshi. What's the big idea? Ya haven't been home fer weeks. At least leave a note or somethin.' I see ya everywhere but the house.

[ With that he just cuts the feed since he's still a little ruffled up and annoyed that someone's avoiding the problems instead of seeing them head on. ]

Anyone in the mood for a friendly spar or somethin?' Been rusty an' all. Anyone is fine. I ain't gonna hurt anyone. Jus' sparring.

Well, it's not like I had a ton to do today.

I ain't much different.

[Ken arrives shortly after that last message, spear in hand and Evoker on his belt. He's not sure what this guy is capable of, so it's best to be prepared either way.]

[ Yeah Kuwabara doesn't know what the small little boy is good at either so he's prepared. ]

Yo. Ya ready ta rumble kid?

[ He replied with a half grin. He doesn't want to be a jerk so he won't be too rash. ]

My name's Ken, not 'kid'. But yeah, I am.

[He drops into a ready stance, spear held in front of him, ready to launch forward.]

My bad. Ken.

[ He replied acknowledging the boy. Kuwabara took a fighting stance as well. ]

Gimme all ya got Ken.

[ He replied letting the boy have the first attack. ]

[He grins, and propels himself forward, slamming the butt of his spear into the ground once he gets decently close and swinging himself up, using the momentum to try to get a good kick in on the other guy's chest.]

[ Kuwabara takes one step back and brings his arms up to block the kick that the boy propelled to him. For a boy he's got some strength. At least he didn't feel completely like a douche for sparring with kids. He might like this. ]

Ya ain't no ordinary kid are ya Ken?

No, I'm not.

[He grins, and backs up a few steps.]

I train a lot, and I fight monsters, too.

Then that means I can serious with ya without a problem.

[ He replied with a grin as well. ]

That's a good way get experience... Monsters huh? What kinda monsters?

[ With that question he speeds up towards Ken pulling a quick uppercut, obviously not to hurt him but just to throw him off balance or get him briefly..At least he was aiming for that. He didn't use all of his strength. No need to. He still shouldn't be hitting kids. ]

Shadows. They have all kinds of nasty attacks and they make people go pretty much catatonic - what's your name, anyway?

[alskdf. Did not move away fast enough to avoid that uppercut, but he just rubs his chin to make sure he's not bleeding and then tries to launch himself for another kick.]

They sound like some nasty things. Kind of reminds me of what we had ta deal with at home.

Kuwabara Kazuma. The Warior of Love and Justice. [ Yes excuse him while he does that since it's just how Kuwabara is. He smirks briefly as he sees him move. He's pretty fast for a boy. Kuwabara is amazed. he kind of reminds him of that sneaky Rinku kid with his YoYos well minus the YoYos anyway. Kuwabara made sure not to hurt him too much so he shouldn't be bleeding. ]

You're pretty fast.

[ He actually takes that kick and it's not too bad either. ]

Yeah? What'd you have to deal with at home?

[What kind of title is that - oh well okay justice he can get behind.]

I have to be. It's not just physical fighting I have to do, either. You can be in serious trouble if you can't launch off a magic attack in time against a Shadow.

Youkai. They're kinda like monsters too but ten times worse. They all have different levels of power...and it's freaking nuts when we have ta go catch 'em.

[ Well it's Kuwabara's title. That's what he is. Ken should get used to it! ]

Eh you're pretty smart. Least ya got the right idea. Here comes another. [ Hello would you like to use your weapon now because Kuwabara will test that now as he moves towards Ken. ] Reiken!

[ See that spiffy orange spirit sword he just made. Yep that's his weapon!. ]

[Sword vs. spear... he might have the longer range but he'll have to be careful. Spears aren't meant to be clashed against swords and he has no idea what that thing's made of. He brings up his spear to counterattack as Kuwabara gets close. Hopefully he can get under his guard and stick him.]

[ Yes, but Kuwabara won't be using all his strength on Ken. Of course, the sword was as solid as an actual metal sword. So he won't have to worry about his spear going through it or anything. Kuwabara attempts to clash his sword with the boy's spear. He's got it in him to help Ken learn more too...just without saying. ]

[Ken narrows his eyes, and he pushes his spear to try to deflect the attack off to the side and close the gap with another kick. ~~He's not quite as aggravating to fight as Rinku, thankfully.~~]

[ Kuwabara doesn't budge that much from his deflecting attack but the spear is long so it gave the kid a little bit of a grip. He stops the kick with his free hand. ]

Hey not bad. [ He replied still parrying him ] Ya shouldn't try too many things at once. IT's gonna give ya openings!

Shadows don't give you a chance to counterattack. You do.

[He backs up a little bit, and pulls out his Evoker. Time to get serious. He puts it to his head and pulls the trigger, summoning Kala-Nemi, who rushes forward to attack with a piercing strike.]

Yeah cuz I'm tryin' ta give you a hand at it. You're full of openings ya know?

[ Because he's just that kind of kind hearted idiot. That's why he leaves a chance for countering and holy fuck what did the kid just do?!!! He just shot himself... and and and--- Kuwabara backs up to dodge the piercing attack. If that fails he's going to try to defend it or move as fast as he could to not get hit by it. ]

What the hell was that?!!

[Huh. You're faster than he thought you were.]

Kala-Nemi. It's my Persona. That's what we use to fight Shadows.

[He looks down at the Evoker. Is this what's got him worked up? :T]

[ FFT after getting beaten by a kid with yoyos and other demons alike he's practically learned to dodge like a mofo. He needs his life don't you know? :|? ]

[ Wow people have the strangest powers here. YEAH he was more worked i[ about the gun shaped Evoker if anything. ]

Jeez ya scared me there. Thought you were gonna shoot yourself with a bullet or somethin?' What the hell's that if it ain't a gun?

[ Because he's perceptive he obviously figured it wasn't a dangerous item.... ish. ]

Yeah. It's like... a personification of the mask you wear to face difficult things in life. And this is an Evoker. We shoot ourselves with it to summon our Persona.

[He holds it out, and pulls the trigger. There's a click.. yep. Nothing.]

I'm not sure exactly how it works. I'd ask Mitsuru-senpai, but she's not here.

Jeez, sounds complicated. I've never heard of somethin' like that but that's pretty damn complicated no matter how ya look at it. You're seriously not just a normal elementary school kid.

How does that work if the thing doesn't shoot bullets?

[ Yeah no bullets. He's surprised. ]

I don't know. But it works, and that's what matters.

[He does allow himself a small smirk.]

I'm not a normal elementary school kid. I've dealt with more than most of them will... ever. I'm not really afraid of anything. I don't have to be.
